We believe the Bible is God’s Word and is trustworthy and authoritative for faith and life.
What We Believe
Faith centered on Jesus Christ.
At College Park, we believe the Bible is God’s message to us. Our faith is centered on the Triune God — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — and on the saving grace offered to us through Jesus Christ.
God the Father
We believe in one true God. God the Father has always existed, created all things, and loves His creation.
Jesus Christ
Jesus is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully human. He lived a sinless life, died for our sins, and rose again on the third day.
The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is fully divine and works in us to comfort, teach, guide, convict, and illuminate truth.
Salvation
All of us have sinned and need God’s grace. Salvation is God’s free gift, received through faith in Jesus Christ. No one can earn Heaven by being good enough, and no one is beyond the reach of Christ’s forgiveness.
The Church
The Church is the body of Christ, called to worship God, make disciples, care for one another, and serve the world in Jesus’ name.
The Apostles’ Creed
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, maker of Heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son Our Lord, Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; the third day he rose from the dead; He ascended into Heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic [universal] church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and the life everlasting. Amen.
